This was a dual format
fanzine, produced by Stephen Leonard Pugh of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk,
and published in May 1985. The included cassette was in fact a
supplement which UK purchasers of the printed Renegade fanzine
could acquire by sending a C-60 cassette with their order for the
fanzine. An exclusive interview with Robert Holmes was included in the
Renegade fanzine, with the supplemental cassette containing a
supporting in-depth audio essay on ‘The Holmes Era’. It appears that
Renegade did not continue beyond its debut issue in either print or
audio.
